Our Step-by-Step Process

  1. Gather and review all information available.

We will review any plans you have from a contractor, elevation surveys if they’ve been done and any other information you may have pertaining to your home or property. Reviewing this information before a site survey will save you money.

  2. Perform soil analysis.

A Foundation Pro engineer will pull soil information from our databases for your location and determine what soils are present, their depths and note any potential soil-related issues.

  3. Perform site inspection.

Your engineer will meet with you, inspect your foundation inside and out, and discuss any background information.

  4. Diagnose problem and provide repair options.

Next, we will determine the source of your foundation issue and provide you with options for repair. Our goal is to give you a clear understanding of the problem with a path to solutions. In some cases, you may just need a plan to manage drainage on your property. Foundation repair contractors tend to specialize in one or two repair methods. While specializing makes them very good at what they do, their solution may not always be the best fit for your needs. We can provide cost-effective plans and solutions for a progressive repair approach.

  5. Provide Engineering Plans, Reports/Letters, Contractor Recommendations or a Notice of Claim letter.

Depending on the repair plan, we can provide the necessary resources for the next step.

See our Common Questions area if you have questions about repair methods or taking legal action against your homebuilder.
